The shift towards remote work, accelerated by technological advancements and global disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic, has transformed the traditional workplace model. Work from Home (WFH) arrangements provide employees with significant benefits, including flexibility, reduced commuting time, better work-life balance, and potential cost savings. At the same time, they pose challenges such as isolation, blurred boundaries between personal and professional life, reduced collaboration, and difficulties in performance monitoring. This study explores both the positive and negative implications of WFH on employees, focusing on productivity, job satisfaction, and overall well-being. The findings highlight that while WFH can enhance autonomy and efficiency, organizations must address challenges through supportive policies, digital infrastructure, and strategies that foster engagement and communication. Ultimately, the impact of WFH depends on how effectively employers and employees adapt to this evolving work model.
