Abstract
View PDFAbstract: Phytochemicals are non-nutritive, chemical compounds that occur naturally in plants and have diverse protective properties. Most Phytochemicals like carotenoids, flavonoids, and polyphenols have antimicrobial activity and serve as a source of antimicrobial agents and also shows potential anticancer activity. In the present study, two indigenous plants of Chhattisgarh namely Phyllanthus niruri and Swertia were analyzed for various Phytochemicals present.
