Abstract
View PDF: Electric vehicles (EVs) mark a significant shift in the automotive sector, offering notable environmental and technological advantages. There are several factors that impact the EV are Range Anxiety remains a major concern for potential buyers who worry about EVs' limited driving range compared to conventional vehicles. This apprehension about battery life often leads consumers to prefer traditional vehicles that provide greater range and easier refuelling options. Charging Infrastructure is another significant challenge. The current lack of adequate and evenly distributed charging stations makes it inconvenient for potential EV owners, discouraging them from adopting electric vehicles. Concerns about finding reliable and accessible charging points often deter consumers from making the switch to EVs. The High Initial Cost of EVs continues to be a major deterrent. Despite the lower overall operating costs of EVs, the higher purchase price compared to traditional vehicles is a considerable barrier for many buyers.
