Abstract
View PDFAbstract: Communication barrier is one of the biggest challenges for hearing and speech impaired persons. One has to either convey their messages by sign language or by using familiar gestures. Our proposed system aims to tackle this issue to an extent. The main motive of this project is to design a computer interaction device that takes input in a gesture format and provides an output in the form of text, hence conveying the message in a readable format to normal persons. Thus, our project COMPANION converts sign language into text.
