View PDFDriving while intoxicated, speeding, and not wearing a helmet are the main causes of the rising incidence of two-wheeler collisions. This research suggests an intelligent smart helmet system that uses automated control mechanisms and real-time monitoring to improve rider safety in order to address these problems. A GPS module, GSM module, alcohol sensor, vibration sensor, and relay module are among the essential parts of the system, which is based on the ESP32 micro controller. It makes sure the rider is wearing the helmet and keeps an eye on their blood alcohol content; if it is found to be higher than a safe threshold, the relay mechanism stops the engine from starting. Furthermore, the technology immediately sends emergency notifications and accurate GPS positions to designated contacts via GSM when the vibration sensor detects abrupt collisions or accidents. This comprehensive technology lowers the severity of accidents and increases overall road safety by enforcing safe driving practices and facilitating quick emergency response.
